If you are considering any of the following products, please read on.

Inherant defects in these products are as follows:

1. Once soiled or stained not one of these products can be properly drycleaned. Every thing needs cleaning sooner or later even if it's 3- 4 years later with normal soilage at that point " you have just lost your investment"

 

2. You lose --- up to 35% from the first day these products are installed in your home!!!!! It is a fact that up to 35% of heat and energy loss from your home is from the windows (thermo pane included) there is "no value" to these products compared to draperies or other properly designed fabric products. *note : if you don't want your energy bills to go up by about 1/3 consider using a more practical product..................................

 

3. Service life ( the time it takes for the product to last as long as expected by commercial users) these products will only last 25% to 35% the life expectancy of draperies or other types of blinds. Costing you 3 to 4 times the cost of a better type of window covering that you could have had for less to begin with!!!!!!!!!!

 

4. Fact: you can have lined custom draperies and custom sheers for "less" than the cost of such products as silhouette or luminette by hunter douglas or similar products by graber, kirsch, levelour, or others and you have "value" in window coverings that last, insulate, are cleanable, and "honestly" beautiful.

 

5. Design ----------------- look closely at the pictures of these products --------------- they are most often shown with valances and/or side panels !!!! Just to hide the fact that "alone" at the window these products look and feel commercial, plain, cold, and stark.

For these " alternative products" ----- and ---- their inherant defects we not only sincerely appologise but stand ready to replace any of those products with " real fabric products " that are cleanable, last longer, are of better design, and that really insulate. In other words products of "real value" and at a reduced cost to compensate for our customers losses on those "alternative products".
